We are doing more work on co-ordinates today.  If you have battleships at home, have a game!  If you don't, there are online versions like this one or you could play the paper version.  There are instructions here.



Today we will think about what it would be like if the local council decided to cut down Macclesfield Forest and use the land to create a theme park.  What would you think about this?  Write a letter of persuasion to the council.  We would love to read them!



What Eats What?

This week we are looking at food chains. You will learn the vocabulary involved and then create your own food chains.

Read J.K. Rowling's New Book, 'The Ickabog,' Online for Free ...

In case you are looking for a book to read, JK Rowling is releasing a Chapter of her new book 'The Ickabog' every night on her website.  There is also a national drawing competition - you could get your work into her book!  How exciting would that be!  Details are at

Alongside the learning resources on this page, the BBC have fantastic daily resources which you may want to use to supplement home learning. 

During the school closures, all children will be asked to carry out their learning at home.  

From Monday 23rd March, we will be posting a daily Maths activity and a daily English activity on this page. Each activity will be dated and relevant answer sheets/mark schemes posted the following day. Please note we have supplied everything in PDF and/or PPT format - if you have any problems don't hesitate to contact us via email!
