At Hollinhey we love to use our fantastic grounds to enhance our learning!

Mrs Walker has been working with Year 6 pupils during Friday Clubs to utilise the 'Allottment Area'.

They are working towards Royal Hoticultural Awards and have already completed Level 1 in six weeks! They hope to achieve the highest standard Level 4 in the Autumn.

Aims include growing seedlings to plant and sell, production of herbs and vegetables in order to make meals and healthy snacks, raise the awareness of the growing process thoughout the school and foster a life-long love of gardening and its benefits.
