Welcome to Reception

Welcome to Hollinhey Reception class, in our class we have 25 children. Miss Holland is the class teacher and Miss Rose is the teaching assistant. Equipment

Below you will find a list of all the things your child will need in school EVERYDAY. Please Ensure ALL of their belongings are named clearly.

  • A full school uniform (All available from Trutex)
  • A Hollinhey book bag (the one without a strap is perfect)
  • A waterproof coat
  • A pair of wellies
  • A PE kit (pumps, shorts, t-shirt, a coloured T-shirt to match your team colour)
  • A water bottle with a non spill lid (not a screw top)
  • A healthy snack for morning break

Snacks

Each day during morning break, the children will have the opportunity to eat the snack they have brought from home. At this time they can purchase fruit and toast from the school canteen. If your child is bringing snack money into school, please ensure it is in a named envelope.

During the afternoon, all children will be provided with a piece of fruit. We encourage all children to at least try this fruit and find that this really helps get into healthy routines and habits. The Government also provides a free drink of milk for all children under the age of 5.
