Welcome to Hollinhey Primary, Sutton

 

Hollinhey Primary School is in the lovely village of Sutton near Macclesfield in Cheshire.  We provide primary education from Reception Class (aged 4) to Year 6 (aged 11) in single year classes and we have about 200 children in the whole school.  If you are new to the school, please use the Tour to have a look around, then explore our Class Pages to discover the excellent opportunities and exciting learning activities at Hollinhey Primary School, Sutton.

School Vision

Our vision is for Hollinhey School to be the school of choice for all local children and families and to be known as a school of excellence for pupils, staff and families.  We plan for children to fulfil their full potential; academically, socially, emotionally and to develop a life long love for learning.

School Aims

Hollinhey’s school aims and values are evident throughout the school

1. To foster a happy, stimulating and secure learning environment in which pupils, staff, parents and governors work in a partnership within which everyone’s contribution to the educational processis valued.

2. To provide a broad and balanced curriculum of the highest possible quality through which each child can experience success and develop a love of learning.

3. To raise standards of achievement for all pupils.

4. To nurture the spiritual, social and moral development of our pupils by encouraging both a caring approach and an appreciation of their responsibilities towards other people.

These values run through everything we do here at Hollinhey and are embedded in the ethos of the school. All the children throughout the school were involved in choosing our core values, and parents were also consulted.
