Governing Board Structure, Responsiblities & Committee Membership
The Governing Board of Hollinhey was re-constituted in March 2019 as part of joing the Aspire MAT and is made up of 2 staff governors (including the Principal), 3 elected Parent Governors, 5 Co-opted Governors and a number of Associate Members. Co-opted governors are governors appointed by the governing board and are people who are considered to have the skills required to contribute to effective governance and success of the school. Associate Members assist the Governing Board but do not have full voting rights.
The Governing Board meet as a Local Academy Committee 3 times a year.
