PE & School Sports Premium
To improve physical education and sport in primary schools, the Government pays each school a Sport Premium Grant for the academic year. The grant goes directly to the school so they can decide how best to use it to provide sporting activities for pupils. We are using this to provide extra sports tutition and facilities for the children both during the school day and for after school clubs, alongside professional training for teachers.
The impact of the Sports Premium Funding has enabled children to experience sports they may not have the opportunity to try before. It has ensured the school has a wide variety of, and sufficient amount of equipment housed safely and securely. It has also improved and widened the teaching of key skills of the Hollinhey Staff.
Also included in the PE & Sports Funding Action Plan Evaluation is the data pertaining to attainment in Swimming by the end of Key Stage Two.
