HEART Behaviour Pathway
At Hollinhey Primary School, our behaviour approach is rooted in our HEART values, which guide how we learn, play and work together every day:

In September 2026 we introduced our HEART Behaviour Pathway, a restorative and supportive approach that helps children understand expectations, learn from mistakes and make positive choices. The pathway includes gentle reminders, opportunities to rethink choices, short reflective conversations, regulation time when needed, and restorative ‘repair’ discussions to help children reflect and move forward positively.
We are also excited to be using Class Dojo as our digital rewards system. Class Dojo allows us to celebrate children who demonstrate our HEART values by awarding Dojo points. These points contribute to each child’s house team total, helping us recognise both individual and team achievements.
Children can also work towards special milestones:
🥉 Bronze Dojo Champion – 50 points
🥈 Silver Dojo Champion – 100 points
🥇 Gold Dojo Champion – 200 points
When a milestone is reached, families will receive a text message to celebrate the achievement, and children will be presented with a certificate in school.
Children in year 1-6 receive a secure QR code login for Class Dojo, attached inside their reading diary. This allows them to view their points, customise their avatar and celebrate their achievements at home or in school. If you prefer your child not to have a Class Dojo login, please contact the school office.
